The Town of Murray board of
assessors consists of three assessors elected by the electorate in
the Town and Village of Holley. The main goals of
this office are to:
-
estimate the value of real
property within the Town and Village, complying with the New
York State real property tax laws, in order to maintain
assessments at a uniform percentage of market value,
-
inspect new constructions
and improvements to existing structures to ensure that the
physical inventory is correct and properly assessed,
-
administer and approve all
real property exemptions.
